While fishing with Andy, we had an unforgettable experience catching massive bluegills that put up an incredible fight, making each moment on the water exhilarating. The thrill of feeling that tug on the line, coupled with the stunning scenery of the Chetek Chain of Lakes, turned our day into an adventure.

Drifting along the calm waters of the Red Cedar, I enjoyed a day surrounded by nature as the sun sparkled on the surface, making it an ideal setting for fishing. The excitement of catching walleye and smallmouth bass kept the day lively, with each fish showcasing the rich ecosystem here. It was a memorable experience where the tranquility of the river blended with the thrill of the catch, reminding me of the simple pleasures and connections that fishing brings.

Andy is great! Prompt, personable, knowledgeable about the Chetek chain of lakes, and best of all he put us on fish right out of the gate. My son just turned 10 and Andy took extra time to answer all of his MANY questions through the long day. In fact, Andy actually guided two sessions for our party in one day and a great time was had by all!! Very nice boat & equipment supplied made life easy, just step on and fish! 5 Stars!

What a great day with a great guide!! Andy put us on fish and has been an absolute pleasure to get to know. From first contact to the day of fishing he is top shelf and a great fisherman. Going back out with him later in the week for Muskie!! I highly recommend hiring him!!

Andy took my son and I out after some walleye Monday evening. He got us into the walleye the last hour or so. We even learned enough from him that we found them ourselves Tuesday night. It was our first time in Chetek and we came looking for panfish. The panfish bite was slow so we didn’t do well on them. Our adventure with Andy made the whole trip worth while. We’ll be back!

This was the best!! We’ve never had a guide before, but this experience has changed that. What a luxury to have Andy to bait, undo tangled lines, know the best spots, filet the catch, and provide lots of encouragement. He brings the boat with all the equipment ready to go. He knows the lake, so you don’t waste time trying to find where the fish are, and what they’re biting on. Plus, Andy is truly a great guy. We had a ball. If you’re thinking about it, just do it because I promise you’ll be glad you did!
